On the 16th of June 2025, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm CEST, the Hub hosted a webinar on sub-letting private homes for Housing First. Caterina Cortese (fio.PSD, Social Policy and Research Officer) and Gonzalo Caro Sagüés (Coordinator of Institutional Relations and Communication, Hogar Sí) presented their respective experience from their local context in Italy and Spain, facilitated by Ben Rickey (City of Paris).

This session explored the different sub-letting models used to house Housing First clients across Europe, highlighting practical lessons and approaches.

• Caterina Cortese shared the experience from Rome, focusing on how fio.PSD supports Housing First clients through sub-let arrangements and partnerships at local level.
• Gonzalo Caro Sagüés presented the model developed by Hogar Sí in Spain, outlining how sub-letting is used as a pathway to secure stable housing for Housing First participants.
