The third week of May the Housing First Europe Hub will fly to Athens to participate in the 2025 FEANTSA Forum. Our team will be chairing a working space and a workshop:

• Meet the Housing First Europe Hub room! – 13/05 – 14.30 to 16.30

This working space provides an opportunity to learn more about the work of the Housing First Europe Hub, including its research, capacity-building, and training activities. Participants will also receive updates on the state of Housing First across Europe and will have the chance to exchange experiences and best practices. The session is designed as a networking opportunity for Hub partners and associates, and all newcomers.

• Next steps in Housing First – Building National and Local Partnerships – 14/05 – 11.30 to 13:30

This workshop will explore the transition of Housing First from a project-based approach to its integration into national and municipal strategies. Speakers from different countries (including France, Austria, Germany and Greece) will share their experiences, highlighting key challenges, strategies for securing support, and funding mechanisms. Following a panel discussion, where insights on scaling up Housing First at different levels of governance will be presented, participants will engage in group discussions facilitated by the speakers, allowing for deeper exchanges on best practices, common barriers, and practical solutions.

• HF National Networks in-person meeting – 15/05 – 09.30 to 12.30

This gathering will be an opportunity to discuss advocacy strategies for governments and administrations, emphasising the importance of national networks in implementing Housing First effectively. The goal is to draft a set of recommendations for governments and administrations on the advantages and importance of having national networks of HF.
