On 28th of April 2025 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm CEST join Claire Guest, Housing First Lettings Lead at Liverpool City Region and Ben Rickey on behalf of Un chez-soi d’abord Paris on a discussion on the role of social homes in rehousing Housing First clients, from sub-lets to mainstream housing allocations organised by the Housing First Europe Hub.
During this engaging session:
- Claire Guest will share insights from Liverpool, where Housing First clients are tenants. She will discuss how housing is provided through direct offers from Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and the increasing role of Choice-Based Lettings in securing homes.
- Ben Rickey will present the experience from Paris, highlighting the involvement of Un chez-soi d’abord Paris and Parisian social landlords (e.g., RIVP) in housing allocation for Housing First clients.
This session will provide valuable perspectives on how different social housing approaches can support Housing First programmes and ensure long-term stability for clients.
