In Bratislava, after seven years, a research and census of homeless people was again conducted in October 2023 at the initiative of the Capital City. The draft methodology for the research and census was prepared by the Institute for Labor and Family Research (IVPR). An irreplaceable role in the process of preparation and conduct of the census was played by organizations providing services to homeless people in the city, as well as almost 50 volunteers who took on the role of interviewers during the main census evening, October 16.
As in 2016, data collection was combined with a questionnaire survey – approaching respondents and filling out questionnaires in an interview with them.
