KNOWLEDGE AND ADVOCACY NETWORK

What is it
The Knowledge Development Network was born from the need of building a strong evidence base for the success of Housing First and supporting advocacy at all levels of governance. Effective advocacy relies on solid research, which is why the network focuses on two key areas: ensuring efficient information flows on Housing First and advancing data gathering, research, and knowledge mobilisation.
By engaging with the network, stakeholders contribute to a growing body of evidence that reinforces the impact of Housing First, shaping policies and practices that drive real change in homelessness solutions across Europe.
Get involved!
We’re always looking to expand and strengthen the evidence base on Housing First.
Let us know about any research, evaluations, or evidence you have planned, or suggest gaps in knowledge that the Hub should explore. You can also volunteer to compile a research digest on a specific topic to help share insights with the wider Housing First community.

Webinars
Four times a year, we collaborate with CAMH (Canadian Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) and the Canadian Housing First Network to deliver an international webinar series covering issues such as harm reduction, prevention, and substance use in Housing First settings.
We also organise webinars on subjects like Housing First for Women, Housing First for Youth, and strategies for securing housing within Housing First programmes. Past and upcoming webinars can be found on our Webinars page and on the Hub’s YouTube channel.
