Why become a partner?
The European Housing First Hub was established in 2016 by FEANTSA and Y-Foundation, along with a diverse group of founding partners – NGOs, housing providers, research groups, municipalities and government ministries to promote and support systems change to end and prevent homelessness, with the scaled-up delivery of high-quality Housing First services across Europe as a cornerstone of this goal.
Since then, the Housing First Europe Hub and its founding partners have had the benefit of expanding its network to include other partners who share the same goals.
As a Core or Associate partner of the Hub you have the opportunity to share in the work of the network, and work towards our shared goal to end and prevent homelessness in Europe. You furthermore have access to all our services. You can decide now which project(s) you would like to be involved in.
Working Groups:
- Policy and Advocacy Development: The Advocacy Work Group is a place to exchange ideas and good practice about advocacy on regional, national and EU level, and it is also a place to plan initiatives which can be collectively launched to support the members’ work.
- Knowledge Development: The goal of this work group is to gather data and research and ensure the mobilisation of knowledge and an efficient and effective flow of information. The members of this group categorise, monitor, evaluate research that can be used as resources for the Housing First Europe Hub partners and associates as well as for the advocacy and capacity work groups.
- Capacity Building: The capacity building work of the Housing First Europe Hub consists of producing different resources about Housing First such as the Housing First introduction guide that is available in different languages as well as regular Community of Practice meetings.
Our Partners have access to:
- All communications, including the Hub website and newsletters.
- Access to Train the Trainer course and other activities. Associates must cover their own travel, accommodation and meal costs. These events are either free or offered at a cost-recovery price, in order to be as inclusive as possible.
- The option to include their logo on the Hub website.
- The opportunity to co-produce tools and resources with the Hub through participation in our work.
- The opportunity to propose new projects and themes for the Work Clusters, by making a proposal to the Hub Coordinator, and linking with other Hub associates and founding partners. The Coordinator will determine if the proposal is in line with the objectives of the Hub, and whether there are adequate resources to start a new work cluster.
- Invitation to all events, workshops, organised by the Housing First Europe Hub.
- Participation to in-person and online partnership events.
