Women and Rough Sleeping – A Critical Review of Current Research and Methodology Women and Rough Sleeping

This book by Joanne Bretherton and Nicholas Pleace  is based on a rapid review of the available evidence and research on the experience of sleeping rough among women. The report contains a collection and analysis of statistical data, from both survey and administrative sources and the qualitative information collected through interviews, focus groups, and ethnographic and sociological research. The main focus is on the UK, but the review encompasses data and information from around the world. The book also contains secondary analysis of anonymised CHAIN data from London and new research with women with experience of sleeping rough, collected through three focus groups conducted in Bristol, Leeds and York in early 2018. https://www.mungos.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/Women-and-Rough-Sleeping-Report-2018.pdf
