During this engaging session, Marei Kleiner,  psychologist at Sozialdienst katholischer Frauen e.V. Berlin (Housing First for Women Berlin), presented ways of approaching counselling specifically in Housing First for Women services. She talked about:

• The unique counselling approaches tailored for women in Housing First compared to traditional homelessness programmes.
• Strategies for preparing women for the transition to permanent housing and addressing new challenges they may face.
• Insights into how early engagement in counselling can support women before and after their move.
