WEBINAR Erasmus+: Exploring exits from Housing First

WEBINAR Erasmus+: Exploring exits from Housing First

Different research and evaluations on the implementation of the HF methodology in Europe show high housing retention rates among service users. However, there is a small percentage, around 15%, who are unable to sustain it. The goal of the webinar is to address the knowledge gap among service providers regarding housing retention for chronically homeless individuals and to break the cycle of misunderstandings about why people return to the streets.

Since 1987, Arrels Fundació has been supporting homeless people in the most advanced stages of exclusion in Barcelona city, focusing on long-term solutions such as housing retention.

The webinar is part of an ongoing development and research project on the application of Housing First policies in Europe, funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ program. The project, ‘Adapting Housing First’ is led by Sophia Housing from Ireland. Other partner organisations are Housing First Berlin (Germany), Y-Säätiö (Finland), Arrels Fundació (Spain).
